The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), Honeywell, Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) and Arizona Technology Council (AZTC) are pleased to announce the first-ever Arizona Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Summit to explore innovation in aerospace and aviation.

The summit will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at ASU SkySong in Scottsdale, bringing together business leaders, innovators, policymakers and city leaders to explore the transformative potential of AAM in Arizona and showcase the state’s ideal setting for industry growth due to its favorable climate, thriving aerospace ecosystem, pro-business environment, and strategic location for regional connectivity.

“Greater Phoenix is a model market for innovation in advanced air mobility, which will transform the way we move people, goods and data,” said Chris Camacho, president and CEO of GPEC.

“With a deep foundation of success in aerospace, aviation and electric and autonomous vehicles, the region is ideally positioned to adopt these novel technologies as a solution to many of our world’s transportation challenges.”

The summit will serve as a platform to discuss how this cutting-edge technology will be integrated into Arizona’s airspace, offering insights into the future of this sustainable and safe form of air travel.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with national experts and network with key stakeholders who are driving the transformation of our skies, covering key topics such as the infrastructure needs for AAM, regulatory frameworks, use cases, ground transportation connectivity and economic opportunities.

“As Arizona prepares for the adoption and growth of advanced air mobility, this summit will play a crucial role in uniting thought leaders and decision makers,” said David Shilliday, VP and GM of the Advanced Air Mobility Business Unit at Honeywell.

“This is an exciting time for Arizona, as we already lead the country in clean manufacturing and autonomous ground transportation. This summit will further showcase how sustainable aviation technologies are reshaping future transportation options.”

The event will include breakfast and lunch, ensuring a full day of immersive learning, networking and gaining firsthand knowledge of how advanced air mobility is poised to reshape transportation, the economy, and urban planning across Arizona.
