Battery manufacturer KORE Power brings on new chief operating officer for Buckeye factory
Renewable technology executive Michael Canada has been tapped to lead KORE Power Inc.’s battery factory in metro Phoenix as chief operating officer.
Canada brings with him years of experience in scaling and commercializing energy storage and lithium-ion battery products for Altairnano, EnerDel and Tucson-based Sion Power Corp., where he most recently served as COO.
In his new role at the Buckeye lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant, Canada will oversee the facility’s completion and launch its operations, Idaho-based KORE Power said Dec. 5.
