DAS Technology moves into new penthouse office at Fashion Square

Phoenix Business Journal

DAS Technology has moved into the penthouse suite of a prominent Scottsdale office tower.

The customer engagement technology firm moved its headquarters from one side of Camelback Road to another, relocating from The Square into a new 16,292 square-foot office at Camelback Tower. DAS Technology took occupancy of the full 11th floor. Built in the 1970s, the new office was once a condo with a swimming pool.

Today, a fully loaded kitchen equipped with a cold brew coffee tap, a flavored seltzer water station and more sits where the pool was. The kitchen is a key gathering area for staff, along with a wraparound, more than 6,000-square-foot patio that overlooks metro Phoenix. Co-founder CEO Alexi Venneri compared the environment to what you’d see at a trade show.

“You’re on display, but you interact with everyone and there’s high energy. That’s what this feels like for me,” she said. “It’s not just long corridors and dark rooms. We did not want that.”

Other features include meeting nooks, phone rooms, conference rooms, a media room and more. Employees can also play ping pong and foosball and ride scooters and bicycles.

Venneri said the relocation came from its lease at The Square expiring. She said DAS Technology toured spaces in the Old Town Scottsdale area at Portales Corporate Center and Galleria, but decided to jump at an opportunity for the top-floor suite at Camelback Tower.

The firm started moving in last December and has built out the office with new furniture and technology. Building signage for DAS Technology at Camelback Tower was installed earlier this month.

Located at 6900 E. Camelback Road, Camelback Tower is connected to Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s at Scottsdale Fashion Square mall.

Keyser Commercial Real Estate’s Noah Barrasso represented DAS Technology in its lease negotiations. Newmark Group’s Kathleen Morgan is the listing broker of Camelback Tower.

The company — formerly known as Digital Air Strike — rebranded to DAS Technology last year to reflect its expanded technology and five client service divisions. Those divisions include: Digital Air Strike, BestRide.com, LotVantage, Autovate and 3 Birds, which the company acquired in 2023. That came as DAS Technology saw a 120% increase in dealer and original equipment manufacturer subscriptions in 2023, according to previous reporting.

DAS Technology has about 90 full-time employees working out of the office and over 170 across the company between employees and contractors.
