Cyclic dinucleotide signaling: New antibacterial and immunomodulatory therapeutics
New antibacterial and immunomodulatory therapeutics
The ability of cells to sense and respond to environmental cues is critical for survival. Cells integrate these cues to regulate the synthesis and degradation of newly discovered “second messengers.” These messengers orchestrate a dizzying array of processes, including bacterial virulence, antibiotic resistance, inflammation, T-cell maturation and more. Learn about research efforts to sense these molecules to treat disease. Discovery Lectures are free, open to the public, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us virtually or in the ASU Biodesign Institute Auditorium Thursday, Oct. 21, 2-3 p.m.
